A design in-progress, this apartment building remodel project has three apartment buildings with common area zen gardens which include a fountain, dry stream, and passive sitting area with boulders and gravel. The landscape design consists primarily of drought tolerant subtropical plantings, ornamental grasses, and succulents. Special consideration was made to make this site more accessible and useable for the city college students who live here.
